UX/CX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive experiences for internal AI tools, from initial concepts and task flows to high-fidelity, functional prototypes.

• Rapidly build and refine in Lovable utilizing AI-assisted and vibe-coding workflows.

• Transition work into VS Code and integrate it with existing projects as necessary.

• Employ user-centered design techniques to define problems, formulate appropriate questions, and link user insights to design choices.

• Develop storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, task flows, scenarios, and personas.

• Utilize and enhance an established design system, which includes UI controls, content templates, icons, form designs, and navigation models.

• Organize and lead remote and in-person design thinking workshops with stakeholders and users.

• Showcase design direction and future concepts to stakeholders, including executive leadership.

• Validate designs with peers, stakeholders, and users through light research and usability testing, then iterate based on the results.

• Assist in a client engagement anticipated to last 18 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Training or certification in user-centered design or design thinking from a recognized institution such as IDEO, IBM, Stanford, LUMA, or Forrester.

• Over 3 years of practical UX/UI, product, or service design experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Proven strong UX/UI design capabilities evidenced by a portfolio of completed work.

• Direct experience in designing and prototyping in Lovable.

• Ability to independently gather user context and transform it into design strategies and execution without extensive guidance.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, including the capacity to present intricate concepts to executive audiences.

• A portfolio is mandatory and must display the design process, the role played in each project, and completed or delivered work.

• Preferred: Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Experience in launching products or delivering to customers through a complete design process.

• Preferred: Practical primary UX research experience, including planning and conducting one-on-one user interviews.

• Preferred: Background in designing, planning, and facilitating both live and virtual design thinking workshops.

• Preferred: Experience in the technology sector with enterprise (B2B) clients.

• Preferred: Familiarity with VS Code, GitHub, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.

• Must reside in Romania.

• Required to work a minimum of 2 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, during U.S. Mountain Time business hours.
