UX Researcher – Mixed Methods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist a Product Risk & Compliance research team dedicated to identifying and mitigating product risks across a global suite of applications.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Policy, Product Management, Design, and Data Science teams.

• Develop and implement intricate mixed methods research utilizing interviews, diary studies, surveys, concept evaluation, and usability testing.

• Manage research projects from start to finish, including planning, participant criteria, recruitment, execution, analysis, synthesis, and stakeholder presentations.

• Choose suitable qualitative and quantitative methodologies based on the research objectives, timeline, and business requirements.

• Perform quantitative analyses including survey analysis, sampling, weighting, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics.

• Integrate qualitative insights, quantitative data, and product or behavioral indicators.

• Convert research findings into clear, actionable recommendations that guide product and policy strategies.

• Share and disseminate insights across teams beyond the immediate product group.

• Ensure comprehensive research documentation and effective project transitions.

• Effectively manage ambiguous research inquiries, tight timelines, shifting priorities, and changing stakeholder expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in UX Research, Product Research, or a similar research field.

• Proven ability to independently design and execute mixed methods research.

• Strong expertise in qualitative research across various methodologies.

• Robust capabilities in quantitative research, including survey design, sampling, data cleaning, weighting, and statistical analysis.

• Familiarity with statistical or scripting tools such as R, Python, or SPSS.

• Skill in assessing methodological trade-offs and adjusting research strategies as constraints evolve.

• Experience in identifying and addressing sampling, bias, and research validity issues.

• Documented examples of research impacting significant product, policy, or business decisions.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in dynamic, ambiguous environments.

• Strong knowledge of research ethics and participant privacy regulations.

• Proficiency in English (Required).

• Must indicate whether sponsorship to work in the US will be needed now or in the future.
