UX Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Develop, recruit, and execute comprehensive qualitative research, including interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability assessments, involving professional Risk Managers.

• Analyze intricate workflows, alternative processes, decision-making points, and areas of potential failure.

• Consolidate findings into categorized user segments, contexts, and prioritized user journeys.

• Design high-fidelity information architecture, interaction frameworks, and realistic interactive prototypes utilizing Figma or similar tools.

• Incorporate edge cases and complex scenarios within prototypes.

• Perform multi-round testing with representative risk professionals.

• Validate concepts, enhance workflows, and document the rationale for implementation.

• Act as an independent thought partner collaborating with product teams, engineering, and domain specialists.

• Question current assumptions and recommend evidence-based product frameworks.

• Collaborate directly with Product Managers and engineers during the development phase.

• Thoroughly document insights and decisions for technical execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Between 5 to 10+ years of relevant practical experience in UX research and interactive product design (typically aiming for a target range of 7–12 years).

• Established history of independently planning, executing, and synthesizing qualitative research with specialist or professional users engaged in complex tasks.

• Strong systems-thinking skills with experience in designing for dense data contexts, multi-step decision processes, and high-stakes workflows.

• Proven proficiency in creating complex, data-intensive interactive prototypes from the ground up.

• A clear portfolio demonstrating how user research has directly influenced a design iteration and led to a successfully implemented product outcome.

• Experience working closely with Product Managers and software engineers throughout the production phase.

• Proficient in spoken and written English to effectively interview international users and present clear findings to a distributed team.

• Residing in Indonesia and available for a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract (PKWT).

• Experience in risk management, fraud detection, financial crime, AML/KYC, cybersecurity, compliance, or expert-user B2B SaaS.

• Background in trading platforms, banking, payments, or complex data analytics tools.
