UX Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge about Revvity’s products and clientele during the onboarding process.

• Provide insights regarding the onboarding experience and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Familiarize yourself with the team and the organization.

• Develop a foundational understanding of the problem domain.

• Establish a rapport with the global UX organization.

• Participate in research initiatives to advance the design system.

• Collaborate with product teams to recognize research requirements.

• Carry out primary research, which includes interviews and user testing.

• Perform secondary research, such as competitive analysis and literature reviews.

• Share research findings with product teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to convert research insights into product enhancements.

• Promote UX principles throughout the organization and support a UX-focused culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong sense of curiosity, eagerness to explore new ideas, and a passion for learning.

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (BA/BS) or graduate program (Masters'/PhD).

• Residing in Ontario, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or Kitchener-Waterloo (KW) area.

• Familiarity with both primary and secondary research methodologies.

• Experience in conducting UX design.

• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others.

• Competence in documenting and presenting research findings effectively.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English communication.

• Capability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables.

• Ability to engage directly with customers and users.

• Skill in presenting work clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.

• Flexibility to pivot and adapt to shifting priorities.
