UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive user experiences across web, iOS, and Android platforms, from initial concepts and user flows to wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready design files.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define, design, and launch new features, funnels, and enhancements for customer-facing product lines.

• Design and support experiments aimed at conversion and growth, which include onboarding, sign-up, and checkout processes.

• Develop features that enhance user engagement and retention while minimizing churn rates.

• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.

• Keep design files and documentation organized and up-to-date.

• Contribute to the evolution of Talkspace's design system.

• Assist in conducting user research and usability testing.

• Implement accessibility and platform-specific best practices across iOS, Android, and Web.

• Integrate motion, audio, and animation elements to enhance the user experience.

• Articulate design rationale and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Work closely with teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data/Analytics, and Brand.

• Remain informed about trends in UX, interaction design, and visual design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a UX Designer in creating digital-first products (iOS, Android, and web), preferably in mass-market digital consumer products/apps, subscription services, or e-commerce.

• Proven experience in designing conversion and growth experiments, as well as consumer-focused features that drive engagement, retention, and decrease churn.

• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, and effectively translating insights into actionable design decisions.

• Strong understanding of standard UX/UI practices for iOS, Android, and Web platforms.

• High proficiency in using Figma.

• Experience with Sketch is an advantage.

• Background in digital healthcare or behavioral health is a plus.
