UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Support the formulation of UX Strategy, encompassing competitive analysis, user analytics, customer insights, behavioral segmentation, personas, scenarios, interaction frameworks, journey mapping, content strategy, ecosystem considerations, social, mobile, local/cultural factors, product roadmap, and feature prioritization.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, which includes usability testing, audience and task analysis, persona development, heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs, field observations, interviews, card sorting, and focus group sessions.

• Evaluate research findings and provide actionable, detailed recommendations for project teams.

• Establish patterns, navigation, structure, and hierarchy via user stories, scenarios, process flows, mind maps, affinity diagrams, journey maps, and ecosystem diagrams.

• Develop user experiences through participatory design workshops, design assessments, brainstorming sessions, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, simulations, storyboards, visual design, user design patterns, and style guides.

• Ensure that designs comply with accessibility standards and regulatory requirements.

• Champion user advocacy and collaborate with stakeholders and project teams across various devices, delivery channels, and non-digital touchpoints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Relevant Experience or Degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, or a Related Field, and/or a combination of relevant training and/or experience in lieu of a degree.

• Typically, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to research and design user experience solutions independently.

• Fields of study may include Psychology, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, Graphic/Visual Design, Human Factors, Library Science, English, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Typically, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in researching and designing user experience solutions independently within the Financial Industry.

• CUA certification.
