Staff Product Designer – AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the design process from discovery, concept, prototyping, to delivery and launch.

• Transform initial ideas or undefined problem areas into functional products, guiding them from inception to fruition.

• Develop innovative AI products for external B2C clients, as well as internal solutions that enhance Payward's operational efficiency.

• Identify challenges, establish direction, and make informed decisions in uncertain circumstances.

• Craft interactions for non-deterministic intelligent systems, ensuring users can comprehend and trust these technologies.

• Design visually compelling and forward-thinking AI product experiences.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, engineering, and leadership.

• Impact product strategy and inform roadmap decisions.

• Rapidly prototype, evaluate concepts, gather insights, and iterate on designs.

• Conduct user research, leveraging customer insights, data, and experimentation to drive product development.

• Uphold a high standard for craftsmanship and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product design.

• A portfolio that showcases outstanding craftsmanship and significant impact.

• Proven experience in leading or solely designing products from conception to launch.

• Complete ownership of the design process from start to finish.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions with limited information.

• Experience in designing AI-driven, generative, or probabilistic products is highly preferred.

• Strong skills in UX and visual design.

• Advanced prototyping capabilities.

• Experience in influencing product strategy and making cross-functional decisions.

• Strong systems thinking abilities.

• Capacity to develop coherent and scalable experiences from the ground up.
