Utility Line Clearance – Foreman, Trimmers, Bucket Operators (CDL Preferred)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a tree crew while executing assigned tasks.

• Engage in daily communication with the General Foreman regarding all job-related matters.

• Apply all necessary skills required for tree trimming with a focus on safety.

• Comprehend and oversee assigned projects effectively.

• Keep up with equipment inspection documentation.

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of equipment.

• Accurately complete daily reports and paperwork.

• Submit timesheets punctually and correctly.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

• Serve the areas of Clarksville, Indian Mound, Portland, Springfield, and nearby regions, which may involve some travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Driver's License is necessary.

• A CDL is preferred; support may be available to obtain a CDL license.

• Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, typically 2+ years.

• Training in OSHA, Aerial Rescue, and First Aid/CPR is required.

• Skills in leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving are essential.

• Knowledge of tree identification, hand/power tool operation, climbing/trimming techniques, and equipment upkeep.

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, lift heavy brush, and work under various weather conditions.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Completion of safety videos, First Aid and CPR Training Programs, Aerial Rescue Training Program, and Trimmer Standards is required.

• Climbing skills typically developed within 24+ months.

• Ability to push/pull brush or wood exceeding 100 lbs.

• Capacity to engage in physically strenuous repetitive tasks while walking, bending, sitting, or climbing.

• Proficiency in using personal protective equipment daily.

• Ability to identify job hazards, conduct job briefings, and establish drop zones.

• Skill in identifying tree assignments and initiating drop zones.

• Ability to assess appropriate mechanical or manual techniques for tree assignments.
