User Experience Research Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Support the design and implementation of UX research studies alongside researchers, product designers, and product managers.

• Oversee research operations, which encompass participant screening, recruiting, and scheduling tasks.

• Collaborate with Product Designers, Content teams, and PMs to ensure research inquiries align with roadmap decisions.

• Create research plans, moderator guides, and additional research materials under the guidance of the team.

• Employ AI tools to transcribe, tag, and synthesize research insights.

• Analyze and integrate findings while identifying key themes.

• Document insights and relay recommendations to design counterparts and stakeholders effectively.

• Maintain and update the research repository to ensure accessibility of work.

• Engage in research rituals and meetings actively.

• Participate as a fully integrated team member in genuine technology and startup projects.

• Candidates must reside anywhere in Canada.

• Minimum of 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time Zone required.

• Availability for a 40-hour work week is necessary.

• Must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or educational institution.

• The internship must be part of an academic program or completed independently, as applicable.

• An unofficial grade report must be provided.

• Candidates should indicate their current year of study and any previous internships/work terms completed.

• Ability to work core hours from 9/10 am to 5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, unless pre-approved time off is arranged.
