This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Engage with Urologists, Radiation Oncologists, and Medical Oncologists who are involved in the treatment of prostate cancer.
• Contact Urologists managing overactive bladder and neurogenic detrusor overactivity linked to neurological conditions.
• Formulate comprehensive business/account plans to implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales targets and fulfill brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers.
• Address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales outcomes.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with medical, market access, and AbbVie Care teams within a cross-functional matrix.
• Develop pre-call strategies and conduct post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and concerns during in-person and virtual sales meetings.
• Attend to the needs, expectations, and challenges of key stakeholders.
• Implement call strategies to maximize coverage of significant customers and increase sales opportunities.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, and clinical data.
• Share market insights with the district manager and fellow team members.
• Articulate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, or a related field.
• A minimum of three to five years in a Specialty Sales position within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience in Urology is preferred.
• Established connections with current HCP targets are advantageous.
• Experience in physician/account-based selling, CHE/OLA/training, managed health care, or marketing is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation skills, both face-to-face and virtually.
• Familiarity with iCertis, CTE/Concur, and Veeva is beneficial.
• Strong aptitude for proactively identifying customer styles and behaviors and swiftly adapting sales approaches.
• Extensive knowledge in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.
• Solid business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.
• Possess strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to foresee and tackle changes or challenges.
• Skilled in building collaborative partnerships.
• Proven success in leadership and supportive roles with increased responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competent with Zoom, Veeva Engage, and Microsoft Teams.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally, including overnight travel.
• Anticipated travel within the territory is 50%.
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
• Ability to think strategically and create a high-quality territory plan.
• Sound business judgment with the ability to assess local markets and set strategic direction.
