This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Conduct age-appropriate patient histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, propose treatment plans, and document findings accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide high-quality patient care while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Record medical information and review patient history during each visit.
• Request consultations or referrals when necessary.
• Offer counseling and education to patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Evaluate, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients requiring acute care.
• Oversee chronic diseases and mental health conditions.
• Stay updated on current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for laboratory result reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with providers and support teams.
• Report to the Medical Director of Urgent Care.
• Availability for required weekday evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• Board-certified physician.
• Successful completion of a 3-year residency in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in a high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient environment.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual-boarded in Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC).
• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in at least one state.
• Residency in an IMLC state.
• Experience and comfort in providing care across all age groups, from newborns to adults.
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice.
• Wide-ranging clinical expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven proficiency with technology.
• Must not be currently excluded or sanctioned by any state or federal healthcare program.
• Must maintain active Medicare status.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings and weekends.
• Physical capacity to remain seated for extended periods and operate computer equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift approximately 20 lbs. of force.
