Underwriting Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assess all submissions to ensure they are complete and adhere to the established protocols for submission ingestion.

• Continuously enhance AI agents to boost workflow efficiency.

• Launch submission triage agents to create account summaries and identify potential referral documentation.

• Detect missing critical information and coordinate with internal teams or agents to secure it.

• Commence data entry into the relevant rating system and produce manual quotes.

• Direct submissions and rating data to underwriting for evaluation.

• Assist underwriters by following up on requests for additional information.

• Evaluate performance metrics, including efficiency ratios and hit ratios, to aid management in pinpointing areas for enhancement.

• Leverage statistical insights to assist in developing and executing process improvements that increase efficiency and simplify business operations.

• Engage in team training, system testing, and the documentation of standard operating procedures.

• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Background in and experience with AI, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.

• University-level studies in statistics, encompassing probability, inference, regression, and statistical modeling.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in crafting prompts.

• Ability to self-organize and prioritize effectively.
