Underwriting Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist with a new product within the Executive Assurance team

• Create workflows and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Facilitate change and adjust to shifting business requirements

• Issue policies and endorsements

• Document processes and organize files

• Review account details for data entry into the appropriate systems

• Order, prepare, and/or refresh reports

• Conduct policy rating and/or initial entry into the rating model

• Process underwriting transactions and requests

• Communicate with brokers for information upon the Underwriter’s request

• Manage booking and invoicing

• Coordinate services with other service units

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

• Collaborate with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams to fulfill key commitments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• Over 2 years of experience in a similar or related field is preferred

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Highly organized

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented

• Customer-focused mindset

• Collaborative and team-oriented approach

• Self-directed with a sense of personal accountability and urgency

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
