Unapplied Cash Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Execute all cash application tasks within the finance division.

• Analyze and reconcile unapplied cash transactions.

• Assist with various operational functions.

• Offer administrative and organizational assistance.

• Collaborate closely with sites to verify visit activities.

• Input charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) as required.

• Allocate receivables to the Cash Receipts Log across all business lines.

• Record transactional line-item cash into proprietary systems based on remittance details from pharmaceutical companies.

• Confirm cash-posting accuracy by reaching out to pharmaceutical companies to validate payment remittance information.

• Review, interpret, and discuss payer remittances to ensure data accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• An Associate's Degree is strongly preferred.

• Over 1 year of experience in basic financial operations, including debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures, and payment lifecycles.

• Proficient in MS Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.

• Knowledge of payment flows, including matching payments to invoices and understanding the impact of unapplied cash on financials.

• Capability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash issues.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills.
