Junior Estimating Analyst – Affirmative Action Position for Persons with Disabilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Log invitations to engage in competitive bidding processes within the database, guaranteeing traceability and a comprehensive proposal history.

• Organize, print, and assemble invitation documents; create the technical dossier and send it, along with the pricing spreadsheet, to the coordination team for analysis and validation.

• Formally acknowledge, via email, the receipt of information and documents provided by suppliers and clients.

• Develop commercial and technical proposals in line with the Invitation to Bid.

• Generate standard letters to request deadline extensions or to decline invitations.

• Conduct quantity takeoffs based on architectural and engineering design documents.

• Analyze designs critically, identifying risks, clashes, scope deviations, and their impacts on costs and schedules.

• Assist in the preparation, review, and validation of estimates.

• Act as a liaison with the Design, Planning, and Construction teams to ensure alignment of technical information.

• Utilize BIM tools, particularly Revit, to extract, verify, and validate quantities.

• Occasionally support the Construction team by participating in technical site inspections when requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in quantity takeoffs and construction estimating, especially for building systems and specialty disciplines.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering design documents.

• Strong critical thinking skills and a field-focused perspective.

• Familiarity with Revit to assist with quantity takeoffs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

• A practical background in construction sites is advantageous.

• Experience in design coordination and clash detection is a plus.

• Experience in applying BIM methodology to estimating is an advantage.
