Ukrainian-Speaking Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, objective, consecutive interpretation via phone for Ukrainian and English speakers.

• Enable communication for healthcare providers, emergency services, legal entities, insurance claims, and public sector organizations.

• Assist in emergency medical triage, hospital consultations, legal matters, insurance claims, and public service support.

• Communicate tone, intent, and context while maintaining objectivity, impartiality, and a non-judgmental stance.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to international data protection and privacy regulations.

• Operate within flexible or 24/7 rotational shift schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Ukrainian.

• Professional fluency in English (C1/C2 level).

• Valid work authorization in the country of residence (EU Passport, Work Permit, or Temporary Protection Status where applicable).

• A dedicated, quiet, and soundproof workspace at home.

• Reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• Direct Ethernet connection is mandatory.

• Outstanding active listening skills.
