📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates (particularly healthcare and medical).

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, without adding, omitting, or substituting information.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretation of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Communicate and report to your team leader effectively.

• Follow dress code guidelines for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Ukrainian".

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Internet: A dedicated high-speed, private, and secure internet connection is required.

• Minimum download speed of 20 Mbps (megabits per second).

• Minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps (megabits per second).

• Wired Internet connection via Ethernet Port (Wi-Fi is not permitted).

• Minimum operating system: Windows 10.

• Computers should have a dual-core, 2 GHZ processor, such as an Intel Core i5 or better, at least 4th Generation.

• Minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• Must have a single device (computer or laptop) capable of running the necessary systems (external devices, such as cell phones or tablets, are not allowed).

• External monitors and connectors (if applicable).
