This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps for E-EFMP applications.
• Perform user research, interviews, and usability testing to guide design choices.
• Convert user needs and mission workflows into intuitive, user-centric designs.
• Design low- and high-fidelity prototypes utilizing industry-standard tools.
• Document interaction patterns, navigation frameworks, and visual design guidelines.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Guarantee adherence to accessibility standards, including Section 508/WCAG guidelines.
• Develop and maintain style guides, component libraries, and design documentation.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, planning, and refinement.
• Evaluate user feedback and usage data to enhance designs and elevate user experience.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance, validated by a Tier 3 background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Digital Arts, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, human-centered design, or digital interface development.
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interface components.
• Background in conducting usability testing or user-focused research.
• Experience working collaboratively with engineering, product, and business teams.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and user research techniques.
• Familiarity with accessibility design standards (WCAG, Section 508).
• Excellent visual design and interaction design capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to produce clear, detailed, and user-oriented design documentation.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
