📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic product design initiatives throughout HopSkipDrive's product lineup.

• Establish UX patterns to ensure uniformity across products.

• Create and execute scalable design systems and components.

• Conduct strategic design research and distill findings into actionable insights.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance the efficiency of discovery and research synthesis.

• Assess design challenges to identify AI-driven solutions.

• Design features powered by AI, incorporating interaction patterns, error states, and edge cases.

• Guide designers and lead design workshops and critiques.

• Articulate design rationale to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Lead workshops and convey design strategy and vision to senior stakeholders.

• Take ownership of design outcomes for key product areas.

• Define and evaluate success through business and user metrics.

• Propel measurable customer impact through AI-driven experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product design experience leading intricate, cross-functional design initiatives from start to finish.

• Advanced UX/UI design capabilities with a comprehensive focus on user experience and strong visual execution.

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining design standards, best practices, and scalable design systems.

• Capability to lead complex prototyping and usability testing initiatives.

• Proficient in integrating user research and advanced data analysis into strategic product decisions.

• Experience in designing for both mobile and web platforms.

• Background in mentoring designers and facilitating critiques and workshops.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to justify design rationale to executive stakeholders.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools for discovery, research synthesis, and prototyping.

• Capacity to discern when AI interpretation is dependable and when human judgment is necessary.

• Skill in evaluating and iterating on AI-generated design outputs.

• Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.

• Strong understanding of design systems and scalable design practices.
