UI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain highly responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces utilizing modern web technologies.

• Collaborate with the design team to enhance and manage the design system, establishing best practices for component architecture and interaction design.

• Work alongside backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with middleware and backend APIs.

• Ensure efficient data handling, state management, and overall application performance.

• Utilize core web fundamentals to create applications primarily using React or Angular.

• Investigate and implement innovative interaction models for the future agent framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, UI engineering, or a similar field.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and contemporary CSS/styling methodologies.

• In-depth knowledge of component-driven frontend frameworks like React or Angular.

• Proven experience in building, documenting, and maintaining design systems using Storybook.js or comparable tools.

• Significant experience with middleware, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and state management.

• Product-oriented mindset with a strong appreciation for UX/UI design principles.

• Enthusiasm for frontend technology and the influence of AI on user interfaces.

• Previous experience in middle- and/or back-office operations within financial services or fund administration is advantageous.
