Front-End Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain responsive, accessible user interfaces utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with product designers and managers to implement UI according to designs and specifications.

• Enhance UI details, boost usability, and ensure cohesive, polished user experiences.

• Develop reusable UI components and contribute to the establishment of consistent UI patterns.

• Integrate front-end functionalities with back-end services and REST APIs, managing loading, error, and empty states.

• Maintain front-end quality through thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Optimize front-end performance and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.

• Adhere to best practices for security and privacy when managing user data.

• Work alongside back-end engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver iterative improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level (90%).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional experience as a Front End Engineer developing web applications.

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Keen product and design sensibility for creating polished, intuitive interfaces and making UI/UX decisions.

• Understanding of component architecture and sustainable front-end patterns.

• Experience with APIs and REST APIs, including handling real-world edge cases.

• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices.

• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows, such as Vite and Webpack.

• Proficient in Git.

• Strong attention to detail, ownership mentality, collaborative spirit, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools is a plus.

• Independent and driven, with a proven track record of taking ownership and executing tasks autonomously.
