Junior Front-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and execute user interfaces for web applications utilizing jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML.

• Work closely with designers and backend developers to convert design mockups and wireframes into interactive, responsive web pages.

• Enhance web applications for optimal speed and scalability.

• Ensure the technical viability of UI/UX designs while upholding code quality.

• Keep abreast of new front-end technologies and industry best practices.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.

• Connect web applications with Content Management Systems (CMS) and external APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in a Front-end Developer position or a similar capacity.

• Expertise in jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML.

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).

• Strong grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first development methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• Experience with version control systems like Git is preferred.

• Understanding of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm) is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile development practices is an advantage.

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
