Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Vue/Nuxt frontend applications for ticketing, point-of-sale, and back-office configurations.

• Create and uphold shared internal SDKs, component libraries, and boilerplate utilized across frontend teams.

• Implement agent-assisted workflows to expedite shipping and ensure thorough reviews before merging.

• Work closely with Product and Design teams to pinpoint specification gaps and address incomplete tasks.

• Ensure quality standards through code reviews and adequate test coverage.

• Assess AI-generated modifications for logical errors and security concerns related to payments and personally identifiable information.

• Participate in developing agent-orchestration patterns and human-in-the-loop review processes.

• Construct frontend applications and shared tools for attractions, venues, and operators leveraging Peek's platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of overall frontend development experience.

• At least 2 years of experience working with Vue and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of Vue 3 fundamentals, with some familiarity with legacy Vue 2.

• Fundamental knowledge of TypeScript, including component architecture, state management (Pinia/Vuex), and accessibility.

• Proficiency with Nuxt (or a similar framework) and Vite.

• Experience in consuming REST APIs through shared SDKs.

• Familiarity with form validation.

• Experience in code review, testing with Vitest and Vue Test Utils, and continuous integration.

• Strong instincts for system design, including understanding trade-offs, edge cases, and performance constraints.

• Regular use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or their equivalents.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated code and take responsibility for what is merged.

• Clear and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to define ambiguous tasks and identify specification gaps.

• Authorization to work in Mexico.

• Nice to have: experience with build tooling, GitLab CI, Docker, ownership of cloud infrastructure, shared component/design systems or boilerplates, publishing/versioning internal npm packages, observability/monitoring tools, and B2B or point-of-sale experience within the attractions/venue sector.
