Turkish VRI/OPI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Understand the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly in healthcare and medical sectors.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver the highest level of customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and thorough interpretation of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training.

• Demonstrate eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader regularly.

• Follow dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and native in the target language "Turkish."

• At least 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation at a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• International certifications in the healthcare industry are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
