Turbine Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power facilities, ensuring adherence to timelines, contractual obligations, and quality benchmarks.

• Work closely with site and construction managers on the sequential coordination of tasks, guaranteeing the availability of necessary personnel, tools, and resources.

• Evaluate the skills and performance of contractors, ensuring that execution aligns with established procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards.

• Ensure all operations comply with company safety protocols and local regulations, protecting the safety of personnel and the integrity of equipment.

• Maintain up-to-date technical drawings and documentation, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and collaborate with engineering teams on technical solutions.

• Deliver training to client teams on system operation and provide ongoing technical support during and after the assembly phase.

• Encourage process evaluation and the exchange of lessons learned with the engineering team to enhance future operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience as a turbine assembly supervisor in hydroelectric power plants.

• Intermediate proficiency in English is an advantage.

• Intermediate proficiency in Spanish.

• Willingness and availability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, and work at project locations.
