Turbine Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants and small hydroelectric power facilities, ensuring adherence to schedules, contractual obligations, and quality benchmarks.

• Work in conjunction with site and construction managers on the sequential planning of tasks, guaranteeing the availability of necessary workforce, tools, and resources.

• Assess the skills and performance of contractors, ensuring that execution is in strict compliance with procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards.

• Ensure that all operations are conducted in line with company safety protocols and local regulations, protecting both personnel and equipment.

• Keep control of drawings and technical documents up to date, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate technical solutions.

• Provide training for customer teams on system operation and offer ongoing technical support throughout and after the assembly phase.

• Encourage process analysis and share insights with the engineering team to enhance future operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnology, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience as a turbine assembly supervisor in hydroelectric power plants.

• Intermediate proficiency in English is an advantage.

• Intermediate level of Spanish.

• Willingness and readiness to travel frequently both domestically and internationally, as well as the ability to relocate to project sites.
