Turbine Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power facilities, ensuring adherence to timelines, contractual obligations, and quality benchmarks;

• Work in collaboration with site and construction managers on the step-by-step planning of operations, guaranteeing the availability of necessary workforce, tools, and resources;

• Supervise the capabilities and performance of subcontractors, ensuring their execution aligns with established procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards;

• Confirm that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company safety protocols and local regulations, ensuring the safety of personnel and the preservation of equipment;

• Keep an updated record of drawings and technical documents, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and liaise with engineering teams to coordinate technical solutions;

• Provide training for client teams on system operation and extend ongoing technical support during and after the assembly phase;

• Encourage process evaluation and the dissemination of lessons learned with the engineering team to enhance future operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or related disciplines;

• Prior experience as a turbine assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants;

• Intermediate proficiency in English is advantageous;

• Intermediate proficiency in Spanish;

• Willingness to undertake frequent international and domestic travel and to be assigned to project sites.
