This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assess flagged in-app messages, user profiles, images, and safety reports according to Community Guidelines.
• Remove inappropriate content, issue warnings, and suspend or ban user accounts as necessary.
• Address user appeals impartially and document the rationale behind each decision made.
• Forward complex, high-risk, or unique cases to the Global Trust & Safety Manager for further evaluation.
• Accurately record moderation actions for reporting purposes and audit trails.
• Identify recurring trends, policy deficiencies, and classifier inaccuracies to notify the Trust & Safety and Engineering teams.
• Engage in weekly calibration sessions to ensure uniformity in decisions across the team.
• Successfully complete initial questions, an introductory call, a practical case study, and a final interview as part of the recruitment process.
• Prior experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, or a customer support role is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is crucial.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain consistency, even when reviewing numerous cases daily.
• Emotional resilience is necessary when dealing with sensitive content on a daily basis.
• Strong, clear written communication skills, particularly when articulating decisions to users.
• High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive user information.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Familiarity with moderation or ticketing tools (such as Zendesk, Intercom, or similar) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in additional languages — French, Spanish, Portuguese, or German — is a plus.
• Fully remote freelance position.
• One-hour break included in the work schedule from Saturday to Wednesday.
