Trust Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess security threats and issues

• Oversee and evaluate security alerts and detections

• Process tickets and resolve them in accordance with established SLAs

• Engage in security incident response and analysis

• Aid in the configuration, management, and upkeep of security-related software and systems

• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently on assigned tasks

• Remain informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and updates to audit frameworks

• Assess new tools to enhance operational process efficiency

• Take part in continuous training and knowledge sharing

• Provide metrics and statistics for management

• Evaluate current practices and offer feedback on opportunities for improvement

• Comprehend policies and standards and communicate requirements to end users

• Set clear expectations and ensure timely follow-up

• Offer audit support for compliance purposes

• Execute other assigned duties and responsibilities

• Support incident response as needed and collaborate with other departments

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology or a related technical field

• Advanced understanding of Information Security design concepts and principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Background in customer service with strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Proficiency in performing in-depth log analysis

• Experience in managing incidents and responding to security incidents

• Capability to analyze logs and comprehend affected systems

• Willingness to obtain CISSP certification if not already achieved

• Preferred: Master’s degree in a technical field

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in Information Security

• Preferred: More than 2 years of experience with SIEM technologies, particularly Splunk

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based identity providers, SSO, and SAML

• Preferred: Experience with zScaler products

• Preferred: Knowledge of Web Application Firewall and DDoS protection

• Preferred: Experience with web application security technologies

• Preferred: Familiarity with vulnerability management software, preferably Tenable

• Preferred: Experience with endpoint detection and response software, with CrowdStrike as a preference

• Preferred: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, PHP, PowerShell, or Bash

• Preferred: Experience in Help Desk operations

• Preferred: Understanding of penetration testing practices and principles

• Preferred: Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
