Trial Patient Payment Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Gather data from various sources to facilitate payments to investigative sites in accordance with procedural documents and site contracts.

• Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations that influence payment capabilities.

• Oversee payment responsibilities and workflows to align with contracted timelines and project objectives.

• Establish and nurture relationships with study sites and occasionally engage with clients on payment-related matters.

• Address study-related escalations and resolve issues pertaining to payments.

• Appropriately escalate project risks.

• Educate study teams on site payment processes, requirements, and deliverables.

• Process investigator payments using middleware and financial systems as necessary.

• Handle refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, and reimbursements for investigator meetings when required.

• Develop and input budgets and site visit trackers (SVTs).

• Participate in transparency reporting.

• Conduct study reconciliations.

• Manage and maintain investigator funds trackers for studies that have transitioned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent, with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Technical roles may necessitate a certification.

• Prior experience that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, equivalent to at least 2 years.

• A combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may also be considered sufficient.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Flexibility to adjust workload priorities based on changing project demands.

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; experience with CTMS, EDC, or financial systems is preferred.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English (both oral and written); knowledge of additional languages is beneficial where applicable.

• Skill in extracting information from study documentation and conducting relevant data entry.

• Familiarity with ICH Good Clinical Practices, country regulations, and/or applicable tax laws.

• Ability to analyze project-specific data and systems for precision and efficiency.

• Willingness to work occasional long and varied hours.

• Rare travel and rotating shifts may be required.
