This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Facilitate college access programs for students in grades 7–10 at Advise TN partner schools.
• Develop lessons and activities related to college access tailored for school environments.
• Cultivate relationships with Advise TN advisors and school personnel.
• Organize scheduling and logistics to ensure consistent program implementation across the region.
• Monitor participation and collect feedback to enhance programming quality.
• Assist in the formation and moderation of steering committees at partner high schools.
• Coordinate meetings, communications, logistics, agendas, and materials for the committees.
• Encourage stakeholder involvement in steering committee meetings.
• Establish connections with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
• Represent Advise TN at community events and meetings.
• Identify partnership opportunities that promote student success.
• Support advisor-led Path to College Events, including planning, organization, coordination, and on-site assistance.
• Maintain knowledge of Tennessee’s college access landscape.
• Stay updated on federal and state college access policy changes.
• Engage with state and regional networks regarding emerging trends and best practices.
• Attend national conferences and professional events.
• Bachelor’s Degree in education, counseling, social work, higher education, or a related field; Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of postsecondary education requirements, options, application processes, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to conduct impactful workshops and presentations.
• Outstanding community engagement abilities.
• Capacity to build meaningful relationships and foster positive connections with students, families, and partners.
• Effective program management skills, with a demonstrated history of developing processes and completing tasks timely and accurately.
• Ability to adapt swiftly with flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel regularly and extensively.
• Must successfully pass Federal and State background checks.
• Evening and occasional overnight travel is necessary.
• Candidates should live in close proximity to one or more West Tennessee communities within the designated territory.
