Defined Contributions Customer Solutions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls and deliver financial education on intricate retirement-related inquiries.

• Address queries regarding investment and payment options accessible to plan participants.

• Provide advice on suitable tools and services.

• Share information and insights concerning the implications of plan distributions, loans, investment selections, and specific plan regulations.

• Operate autonomously to troubleshoot and investigate issues, creating effective solutions.

• Facilitate transactional support for plan participants.

• Offer guidance on both qualified and non-qualified retirement plan benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a FINRA SIE Certification and be able to obtain FINRA Series 6 License and 63 License within six months of employment.

• Exhibit experience in Defined Contribution or Qualified Plans.

• Background in customer service and/or financial services is essential.

• Possess analytical capabilities for problem-solving and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.

• Demonstrate attention to detail with a strong level of accuracy and personal accountability.

• Capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment, especially during peak seasons.

• Employ conceptual thinking to recognize patterns, apply concepts, and clarify complex information.

• Show consistent confidence and resilience in challenging interactions.

• Ability to ask pertinent probing questions to better understand customer needs.

• Utilize data to persuade and influence customers objectively.

• Exhibit active listening skills to comprehend both expressed and unexpressed customer needs.

• Must possess work authorization that does not, now or in the future, necessitate visa sponsorship in the Employing Country.

• Successful completion of a background check, as applicable to the role.

• Must be able to participate in video interviews with the camera on.

• Occasional travel to a physical office location may be required.
