This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Act as a bridge between healthcare providers and patients who are recognized as candidates for the PRM Protocol.
• Provide clear explanations regarding treatment options, timelines, and associated costs.
• Engage in discussions with patients via Teams following provider consultations.
• Clarify patients’ financial responsibilities according to their insurance plans.
• Reassess treatment costs for patients undergoing a second round of treatment when necessary.
• Assist patients in comprehending the necessity of treatment and present affordable alternatives.
• Outline case fees and financial options to aid in treatment decision-making.
• Present or co-present treatment plans and obtain patient consent.
• Educate patients on their insurance benefits.
• Assess eligibility for medical benefits, along with limitations and payment estimates.
• Ensure that patients are aware of their financial responsibilities.
• Solicit referrals or online testimonials from satisfied patients.
• Relay patient treatment and financial decisions to the team.
• Monitor patient discussions and outcomes for administrative purposes.
• Utilize telephone, calculators, EMR, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams for communication and documentation of treatment plans.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Candidates must be residents of Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, or Texas.
• Possess one to two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in healthcare insurance benefits is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to those with experience in sales and out-of-network healthcare services.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Hold a comprehensive understanding of the PRM Protocol.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills.
• Be familiar with various computer systems.
• Display strong customer service capabilities.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• Possess excellent telephone communication skills.
• Have influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Showcase strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of out-of-network (OON) and self-pay benefits is beneficial.
• Apply creative problem-solving skills.
• Have a thorough understanding of scheduling and financial systems.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment as a supportive and positive contributor.
• Capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in EMR (eClinicalWorks), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams.
