Treasury Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute daily payment transactions, which include ACH, wires, and checks.

• Reconcile banking activity, payment files, and cash movements; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

• Handle payment exceptions, returns, rejects, and failed transactions promptly.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment-related issues.

• Assist in daily cash positioning and liquidity reporting associated with payment activities.

• Uphold payment controls, approval workflows, and segregation-of-duties requirements.

• Aid in payment forecasting, bank account management, and treasury reporting.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance payment-processing workflows through automation.

• Create operational and management reports concerning payment volumes, cash activities, and exceptions.

• Ensure that payment activities adhere to internal controls, payment regulations, banking requirements, and other relevant regulations.

• Undertake additional duties, participate in various projects, and support ad hoc reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in Treasury, payment operations, cash management, banking, or a similar role.

• Strong grasp of payment methods, banking processes, and cash reconciliation.

• Preferred experience with ERP and treasury management systems.

• Proficient in Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage time-sensitive transactions.

• Strong communication abilities and effectiveness in collaborating across multiple teams.

• Experience in high-volume payment processing or payment operations, ideally on behalf of clients.

• Familiarity with ACH, domestic/international wires, SWIFT, and various payment file formats.

• Experience with treasury management systems, ERP platforms, or banking portals.

• Knowledge of payment automation, fraud prevention, and treasury controls.
