Travel Product Specialist – Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the trip portfolio in the designated location, collaborating with local partners to craft genuine travel experiences.

• Investigate new services, activities, and locations.

• Evaluate itineraries, products, and operational standards.

• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers while maintaining high service quality.

• Leverage AI tools to optimize tasks, explore destinations, and enhance workflows.

• Ensure that services are provided in accordance with established standards.

• Address operational challenges, seek alternatives, and resolve issues as they arise.

• Work alongside Reservations, Operations, and Marketing to ensure products are accurate, ready for sale, and timely delivery.

• Track costs, profitability, and relevant KPIs to enhance products and processes.

• Professional fluency in Spanish.

• Proficient working knowledge of English.

• A strong passion for product development and unique travel experiences.

• Expertise in negotiation while maintaining quality standards.

• Extensive knowledge of the destinations.

• A data-driven approach and comfort with Product and Marketing KPIs.

• Innovative problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Latin American destinations, especially Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador.

• Experience in the travel industry, destination management, or a similar role.

• Background in managing travel products or coordinating operations related to destinations.

• Understanding of the DE and/or FR tourism sector.

• Professional fluency in Portuguese, or the ability to confidently engage with Brazilian suppliers and stakeholders.
