Travel Mobile Phlebotomist – Temp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review the schedule to ensure that all necessary supplies and PPE are readily available

• Travel to patients’ residences across the designated market area

• Perform blood draws, check vitals, measure height and weight, collect urine samples, assist with Annual Wellness Visits, and deliver other preventative and diagnostic services

• Utilize advanced phlebotomy techniques to ensure comfortable blood draws

• Foster a warm, inviting, and professional atmosphere in each patient's home

• Accurately record patient visits through Sprinter technology

• Label, manage, and transport specimens for lab drop-off or shipping

• Independently navigate through unfamiliar cities, neighborhoods, and patient service areas

• Effectively manage time, supplies, and scheduling while traveling between patients

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy abilities, including experience with difficult blood draws

• Experience in patient-facing healthcare roles as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN); in-home experience is preferred

• Current BLS certification

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Ability to drive before 7:00 a.m. to reach the first scheduled patient on time

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the year; the role may require travel up to 90% of the year

• Capability to be away from home for extended durations

• Comfort in driving and navigating independently in unfamiliar cities and neighborhoods

• Proficiency in using Apple iPhones and iPads

• Ability to fulfill state-specific certification or licensing requirements

• Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; heavier lifting may be necessary for travel assignments

• Ability to spend long periods driving between patient appointments

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and carry medical supplies and equipment

• Ability to safely navigate various patient home environments, including stairs

• Ability to manage the physical demands associated with frequent travel
