Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advice and arrangements for corporate clients, including both individual and group bookings.

• Perform analysis and research on available travel options.

• Anticipate traveler needs proactively and promote additional services.

• Organize and book domestic and international business travel involving air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus.

• Ensure adherence to clients’ established travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory standards.

• Employ effective telephone service techniques and respond to special requests from customers.

• Work collaboratively with the team to mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback for service level enhancement.

• A strong commitment to excellence in client service, with a focus on anticipating needs proactively.

• Proficient in GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Maintain integrity and safeguard personal traveler information.

• Solid understanding of the travel industry, encompassing business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and autonomously or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Team-oriented attitude and receptiveness to feedback.

• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
