Travel Advisor – 80–100%, m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to agencies and distribution partners across Switzerland primarily via telephone in French, and in German when necessary.

• Proactively sell package vacations as well as customized individual bookings for the Kuoni, Helvetic Tours, and Hotelplan brands.

• Manage customer files and reservations efficiently.

• Maintain regular collaboration with suppliers and agents in various travel destinations.

• Execute various administrative responsibilities, including the preparation of quotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed foundational commercial training.

• Preferably, additional training in travel consulting (for instance, a basic course in the travel sector).

• Initial experience within the travel industry or a strong sales aptitude as a career changer.

• A passion for travel, a sales-driven mindset, and excellent knowledge of destinations.

• Please include a list of destinations visited along with the corresponding years.

• Strong customer service orientation and a genuine enthusiasm for advising, selling, and communicating with customers over the phone.

• Flexibility, initiative, and a remarkable team spirit.

• Extensive personal travel experience and a keen interest in destinations worldwide.

• Proficient language skills in German, French (including a language certificate or language stay), and English.
