This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Deliver structured, non-therapeutic wellness support to clinician-referred adult outpatients in California, guided by their psychiatric provider.
• Conduct brief individual wellness coaching sessions and initial non-diagnostic wellness assessments.
• Develop personalized, clinician-aligned wellness routines.
• Instruct on safe breathwork, mindfulness, grounding techniques, sleep support, yoga nidra, body-scan practices, gentle movement, and routine-building skills.
• Facilitate live virtual groups targeting stress regulation, emotional wellness, sleep optimization, ADHD-friendly strategies, and practical skills.
• Assist patients in maintaining adherence and consistent practice between psychiatric appointments.
• Track patient-reported metrics such as sleep, stress, mood, and adherence to practices.
• Adjust wellness routines within the approved scope based on patient feedback, tolerance, and goals.
• Aid patients in identifying concerns to discuss with their treating psychiatric provider.
• Ensure safety, privacy, professional boundaries, and respectful participation within groups.
• Document coaching activities, time invested, patient responses, home-practice plans, and pertinent concerns in the designated chronic care management platform.
• Maintain precise group attendance records and utilize approved templates and workflows.
• Communicate clinically relevant concerns or signs of patient deterioration promptly through secure practice channels.
• Engage in supervision, training, quality assurance, onboarding, and a three-month probationary period.
• Proficient spoken and written English, ensuring clear, warm, and professional communication with U.S.-based adult patients.
• Formal training and demonstrated experience in mindfulness, breathwork/pranayama, yoga-informed wellness, health coaching, or a related field.
• Training in trauma-informed care with the ability to facilitate practices that prioritize choice, consent, pacing, patient autonomy, and emotional safety.
• Formal education in health coaching or possession of a recognized coaching certification.
• Experience assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, stress dysregulation, and/or trauma-related symptoms.
• Understanding of the boundaries between wellness coaching, psychotherapy, and medical care.
• Excellent skills in active listening, rapport-building, and group facilitation.
• Cultural humility and awareness of the varying contexts and healthcare experiences of U.S.-based patients.
• Exceptional reliability, punctuality, organization, and professionalism.
• Comfortable utilizing secure patient portals, video platforms, structured documentation, and digital workflows.
• Capability to complete necessary onboarding and training before engaging with patients.
• Access to a contractor-provided encrypted, password-protected device, multi-factor authentication, private workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and a privacy-protective audio setup.
• Ability to utilize only practice-approved, HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Agreement to maintain confidentiality, privacy, data security, and business associate obligations.
• Availability that overlaps with U.S. Pacific Time, including daytime and evening hours.
• Flexible scheduling based on patient demand and practice requirements.
• Opportunity for remote work.
• Initial capacity of approximately 10–20 hours per week, increasing with patient volume.
• Separate agreed flat rate for each live virtual group session facilitated.
• Practice-managed payer billing; the contractor is not responsible for claims, coverage determinations, billing codes, or billing patients/insurers.
