Transmission Line Engineer – Level 5

📋 Description

• Independently create and implement advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and strategies to tackle complex and unique engineering challenges.

• Offer technical leadership and direction to a diverse team of engineering, technical, and administrative personnel.

• Engage with executive clients and internal stakeholders on significant decisions.

• Apply, manage, and enhance quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to company quality standards.

• Develop and sustain departmental standards, policies, and procedures.

• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.

• Communicate with clients regarding project objectives, progress, interests, and future requirements.

• Lead internal project teams and liaise with clients, which includes site visits and project execution evaluations.

• Assist in business development by supplying technical insights for sales proposals.

• Organize work details, schedules, task sequencing, scope, budgets, and technical elements across various disciplines.

• Promote knowledge management and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Establish project work plans while identifying technical skill gaps and corresponding mitigation strategies.

• Influence and implement resource strategies for complex projects.

• Support contract administration and project management responsibilities.

• Develop comprehensive scope-of-work packages for multidisciplinary projects.

• Monitor project scope, recognize changes, and aid in change proposal processes.

• Over 15 years of relevant work experience showcasing continual growth and knowledge enhancement.

• Proven experience in designing and overseeing the technical aspects of projects while providing guidance and mentorship.

• Expertise in resource planning and management across multiple disciplines and large, intricate projects.

• In-depth knowledge of clients’ design guidelines and standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of Commonwealth Associates’ quality program.

• Capability to lead multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and administrative teams.

• Proficient in coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, and technical elements of substantial multidisciplinary projects.

• Ability to contribute to business development through technical information for sales proposals.

• Competence in accurately completing expense reports and timesheets in a timely manner.
