This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create high-voltage (69kV–500kV) transmission lines utilizing PLS-CADD.

• Employ advanced engineering methodologies, theories, principles, and practices for intricate project assignments.

• Modify and adapt standard techniques to address complex challenges.

• Offer expert guidance on technical plans and systems utilized in high-voltage transmission line construction.

• Foster collaboration among various disciplines and project team members.

• Serve as the main contact for clients to define project scope and comprehend requirements.

• Develop documentation for transmission line construction.

• Generate project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, structural framing and loading drawings, assembly drawings, foundation drawings, and construction specifications.

• Coordinate specific design elements within projects.

• Estimate construction expenses and specify materials required.

• Review project drawings, calculations, and specifications for accuracy.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

• A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in Transmission Line Engineering or a related field is necessary.

• PE license or the capability to obtain one within 6 months is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE is preferred.

• Previous experience with or for a Utility is highly desirable.

• Eligibility to work permanently in the US is required.

• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.

• Capable of independently completing assigned tasks.

• Proactively manages personal workload.

• Effectively contributes to training and mentoring team members.

• Must possess strong analytical and self-motivated qualities.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and handle diverse situations.

• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong interpersonal abilities required.

• Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and AutoCAD is preferred.

• Proficiency in MFAD/LPILE is advantageous.

• Willingness and commitment to mentor less experienced engineers.

• Open to innovation and the application of evolving technology and AI tools.
