This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing Ulteig's partnerships with subconsultants

• Supervise and guide transmission line projects carried out by subconsultant partners

• Ensure that projects, deliverables, drawings, and execution align with Ulteig and client quality standards

• Facilitate training and development of subconsultant teams regarding client-specific expectations

• Serve as the technical leader and program manager for a portfolio of projects executed by subconsultants

• Organize, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project tasks

• Provide oversight, conduct reviews, ensure quality assurance, and offer training

• Coordinate specific design elements of projects

• Plan, schedule, lead, and communicate project activities with team members

• Offer technical advice and feedback to engineers and subconsultant partners


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required

• Graduation from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required

• PE License is strongly preferred

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Transmission Engineering sector

• Effective leadership and mentoring capabilities

• Experience in overseeing, leading, and reviewing the quality of subconsultant engineering design and project scheduling

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

• Strong skills in client engagement and relationship development

• Ability to lead transmission line projects with a multidisciplinary team from estimating and proposals to project closeout

• Proficient in reviewing and producing structure framing, plan & profile, load & design, foundation, material specifications/orders, phasing maps, and construction drawings/specifications

• Skilled in reviewing PLS-CADD models for preliminary, detailed, and record drawing designs

• Knowledge of NESC and RUS design guidelines is advantageous

• Previous experience with major power utility clients is preferred

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

• Willingness to adopt evolving technology and AI tools

• Valid driver's license and ability to comply with company driving standards

• Willingness to travel up to 5%

• Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. is required
