Translation Validator, Punjabi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess English source documents alongside two machine-generated Punjabi translations.

• Analyze both versions for accuracy, fluency, and overall translation quality.

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a detailed written justification.

• Complete assigned samples autonomously within set deadlines.

• Strictly follow project and client guidelines.

• Assist in a synthetic data generation program for a prominent technology client.

• Conduct A/B preference testing to assess and enhance AI-generated content.

• Independently evaluate source documents and translation variants through a blind validation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Punjabi, both written and spoken.

• Excellent written communication skills in Punjabi.

• Strong command of English.

• Preferred background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment.

• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and consistency.

• Familiarity with Romanized script conventions for Punjabi is advantageous.

• Prior experience as a linguist is preferred for this role.
