Translation Validator, Odia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze English source documents in conjunction with two machine-generated Odia translations.

• Assess both translations for accuracy, fluency, and overall quality of the translation.

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a detailed written rationale.

• Independently complete assigned samples within the specified deadlines.

• Strictly follow project and client guidelines.

• Conduct blind A/B preference testing of machine-generated translations to assess and enhance AI-generated content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Odia, both written and spoken.

• Strong written communication abilities in Odia.

• Proficient in English.

• Capability to work independently with a strong focus on detail and consistency.

• Preferred background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment.

• Familiarity with Romanized script conventions is advantageous.

• Preference for experienced linguists.
