This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze English source documents in conjunction with two machine-generated Malayalam translations.

• Assess both translation options for accuracy, fluency, and overall quality.

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a clear written rationale for your choice.

• Review audio recordings alongside their transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.

• Evaluate the quality of transcription and audio in accordance with project guidelines.

• Independently complete assigned samples within the specified timelines.

• Rigorously follow project and client guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced linguist.

• Native-level fluency in Malayalam, both written and spoken.

• Strong written communication abilities in Malayalam.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment.

• Ability to work autonomously with a keen attention to detail and consistency.

• Familiarity with Romanized script conventions is advantageous for transliteration tasks.
