Translation Validator, Gujarati

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct A/B preference testing on machine-generated translations from English to Indic languages.

• Review English source materials alongside two machine-generated translations in Gujarati.

• Assess variations based on accuracy, fluency, and overall quality of translation.

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a detailed written rationale.

• Independently complete assigned samples within set deadlines.

• Follow project and client specifications.

• Contribute to a synthetic data generation initiative aimed at evaluating and enhancing AI-generated content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Gujarati, both written and spoken.

• Excellent written communication abilities in Gujarati.

• Competency in English.

• Preferred background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment.

• Capability to work autonomously with a strong emphasis on detail and consistency.

• Familiarity with conventions of Romanized script for Gujarati is advantageous.
