Translation Quality Rater

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Review and edit customer service content that has been machine-translated, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency.

• Assess the quality of machine translation outputs and apply severity ratings as necessary, adhering to project guidelines.

• Create high-quality human translations to serve as reference data for model training and quality assessment.

• Adhere to specified style guides, tone regulations, and terminology standards.

• Detect and report recurring issues with machine translation quality and trends at the batch level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the Valencia language along with strong English language skills.

• Background in translation, localization, or post-editing of machine translation.

• Understanding of machine translation quality assessment and error detection.

• Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality.

• Capability to work independently within an online setting.
