This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Receive projects from project managers.
• Allocate projects to vendors or internal resources using SAVANTA.
• Monitor project progress.
• Deliver projects to the File Formatting Team.
• Forward linguistic inquiries to project managers or linguistic teams.
• Handle purchase orders in SAVANTA.
• Collaborate with other Translation Coordinators on project-related inquiries and relay them to project managers.
• Coordinate with various Questel teams.
• Ensure project profitability while achieving monthly revenue targets.
• Provide feedback to in-house linguists, vendors, and/or filing agents.
• Work with Vendor Services regarding vendor-related matters.
• Discuss contingency plans with project managers concerning changes in scope, schedule, or resources.
• Process final project deliveries to agents, project managers, and others.
• Address purchase order issues with the accounting department.
• Ensure sufficient translation resources are available for ongoing and future projects.
• Manage test evaluations within SAVANTA.
• Work collaboratively across multiple teams to communicate and manage expectations throughout all project phases.
• Notify project managers of issues that may affect Questel’s relationships with clients.
• Provide comprehensive information to cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of the final file.
• Compile legal documents for attachment to applications as necessary.
• Oversee updates to glossaries and term bases.
• Escalate feedback requirements through appropriate channels.
• Prepare or compile monthly reports and inform management of error trends.
• Assist in guiding Associate Translation Coordinators as required.
• Collaborate with the development team to report bugs.
• Engage in special projects and other tasks assigned by management.
• Familiarity with SAVANTA, Trados, and Microsoft applications.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to manage and deliver projects occasionally during non-standard hours.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to completing assignments.
• Ability to remain focused with minimal supervision and consistently report on progress.
• Quick learner capable of multitasking in sometimes high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables, regression analysis, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle a significant workload within set deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
• Capacity to consistently stand and/or sit while meeting with team members.
• Proficient in operating computers and other office productivity tools.
• Ability to recall names and details effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of all proprietary information related to Questel or its clients.
