Transition Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management of cross-functional projects for the commissioning of network elements and sections.

• Coordination among all involved departments.

• Oversight and professional leadership of final acceptance processes in the areas of Network Operations & Maintenance.

• Guaranteeing a smooth and quality-assured transition to regular operations.

• Designing, enhancing, and instituting standardized commissioning processes throughout the organization.

• Collaborating with impacted departments and interfaces.

• Establishing and continuously improving structured and transparent status reporting, including management reports.

• Assuming additional project management duties within the team.

• Providing technical expertise in the planning and execution of commissioning activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in FTTH projects and the commissioning and acceptance of FTTH construction areas.

• Several years of professional experience within the telecommunications or communications engineering sector.

• A completed degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent vocational training.

• Extensive hands-on experience in the construction or operation of telecommunications networks, particularly fiber-optic/FTTH networks.

• Strong knowledge of both active and passive network technology along with the underlying network architectures.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

• Proven ability to plan and execute complex projects in a methodical manner.

• Business-fluent communication skills in both German and English.
