This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive training strategy for Field Reimbursement Managers across the enterprise.
• Create, execute, and sustain standardized onboarding programs for both Field and Virtual FRMs.
• Design tailored learning paths for new employees, seasoned FRMs, team leaders, and management personnel.
• Establish scalable training solutions catering to various manufacturer clients and therapeutic sectors.
• Spearhead the development of certification programs and competency assessments.
• Review and refine training materials based on industry developments, client input, business requirements, and reimbursement updates.
• Produce a variety of educational materials including instructor-led sessions, virtual training, self-paced content, SOPs, job aids, playbooks, case studies, workshops, role-plays, assessments, coaching, and manager development resources.
• Provide education on patient access, reimbursement, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, specialty pharmacy, coding, billing, payer processes, patient support, financial assistance, HUB operations, and related subjects.
• Tailor training to meet specific therapeutic areas and manufacturer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for client implementations, product launches, label expansions, new indications, program improvements, meetings, continuing education, refresher training, and launch readiness.
• Offer coaching and guidance to both Field and Virtual FRMs.
• Execute field observations, virtual coaching sessions, and competency evaluations.
• Detect performance gaps and create targeted enhancement plans.
• Foster leadership development for emerging managers and team leaders.
• Work in partnership with Operations, Program Leadership, Client Services, Clinical, Compliance, Quality, Human Resources, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Analytics, Technology, and Systems teams.
• Develop and track training metrics, including completion rates, certification levels, competency, coaching effectiveness, quality, readiness, time-to-productivity, client satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Prepare executive-level reports and recommendations for ongoing improvements.
• Ensure compliance of training materials and programs with FDA, HIPAA, OIG, manufacturer, company, privacy, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Quality teams to keep training content up-to-date and audit-ready.
• Establish and sustain an enterprise-wide FRM training program while standardizing onboarding and certification processes across all programs.
• Assist in client launches and program implementations while promoting measurable training results and operational excellence.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical patient access, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare services.
• More than 5 years of experience supporting Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, Case Management, or similar customer-facing programs.
• At least 3 years in training, coaching, learning and development, or leadership roles.
• A strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes and patient access services.
• Experience in developing and delivering adult learning programs.
• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and leadership capabilities.
• Preferably experienced in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer clients.
• Product launch experience is preferred.
• Experience across various therapeutic areas is an advantage.
• Leadership or people management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Veeva is preferred.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
• Instructional design experience is preferred.
• Approximately 15-20% travel may be required based on business needs.
• Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen is required.
• Candidates should ideally be able to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
